Christmas 2008
My second summer Christmas in a row. Sometimes it’s hard to believe that I’ve been away from home for so long. It was a good Christmas though. Had some people over for Christmas eve; I cooked an awesome meal! We went to beach and got some sun on boxing day sans the beer.

Rhys Darby in the Flesh
MySpace did a promo for the new Jim Carrey film Yes Man which also happens to star Kiwi comedian Rhys Darby. Yes, the Rhys Darby of the Flight of the Conchords fame. It was an RSVP only event and we were able to get four tickets…cause NZ is really small…The theatre was full though. Rhys introduced the film, we watched and laughed and then he did a Q&A at the end which was really cool. We got to meet him at the end!! Funny man, funny man. Check it.

Christmas comes early here in NZ. Kiwis celebrate this time of year by lounging on the beach with a beer in hand, wahoo! I plan to eat heaps and hope you do too. Cheers!
